Comencé este blog a finales de 2011, por lo que tiene ya añito y medio. Si embargo, durante el primer año apenas publiqué, y lo tuve muy descuidado. El día 1 de noviembre de 2012 me di cuenta de que si publicaba una foto al día hasta final de año, llegaría a las 100 entradas. Cuando conseguí mi absurdo objetivo, ya me había habituado a subir una foto al día, así que en ello sigo.

En cuanto a mí, mi nombre real no es Afotero, sino Jacobo y vivo en Sevilla (de ahí que casi todas mis fotos sean de esta ciudad). Llevo ya bastante tiempo haciendo fotos, pero últimamente intento tomármelo más en serio. Normalmente, cojo mi cámara y salgo a andar sin rumbo fijo y voy fotografiando lo que me llama la atención. Hasta ahora sólo fotografiaba espacios sin gente, pero quiero ir adaptándome a la fotografía callejera (si es que se traduce así Street Photography).

Aunque sólo tengo varias cámaras «analógicas» suelo utilizar dos digitales. Así que mi equipo habitual es:

I started this blog at the end of 2011, so right now it is a year and a half old. Nonetheless, for the first year I basically neglected it, but on November 1, 2012 I realized that if I uploaded a photo a day until New Year’s Eve, I would reach 100 hundred posts. When I achieved this foolish goal, I had got used to taking care of the blog, so here I am.

Regarding me, my real name (obviously) is not Afotero, but Jacobo, and I live in Seville (Spain), hence why most of my photos are from this city. I’ve been shooting for a few years already, but it wasn’t till recently that I started taking it seriously. I usually pick my camera and start walking aimlessly, shooting anything that calls my atention (shooting with my camera, that is, but who knows what the future will bring). So far I was photographing empty spaces and details, but I want to try and learn some street photography.

Although I have several film cameras, I normally use a couple of digital ones. My usual gear is:
